Anu graduated with distinction from McGill University Law School in 1997. She received the Cheryl Rosa Teresa Doran award for “academic merit, steadfastness, and dedication to the profession of law”. While getting her LLB., Anu volunteered her time at the McGill Legal Aid Clinic.

Anu was called to the Ontario Bar in 1999. After articling at one of the top Bay Street firms, Anu dedicated her legal practice to complex insurance-related litigation in plaintiff personal injury cases. These cases include motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall cases and historic sexual assault cases. Her areas of experience and expertise include serious and catastrophic injuries, fatalities, concussions, and brain and spinal cord injuries.

Anu has represented clients at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Licence Appeal Tribunal and mediations.

For years Anu has been acting as Articling Principal to student lawyers during their articles of clerkship. She mentors junior lawyers, and gets invited as guest speaker to local TV stations and universities.

Compassionate, accomplished and devoted to helping her clients, Anu leaves no stone unturned to get the best possible results for her clients. She joined Pace Law Firm in 1999. Over the past 20 plus years of her law practice, Anu has helped thousands of clients including children, adults and seniors.

Anu also has a law degree from Delhi University, where she spent a lot of time organizing legal aid camps in Delhi, India. She worked very closely with judges and lawyers, and spearheaded the initiative where mobile courts were brought to remote rural areas. Anu has always been passionate about helping people and bringing justice to them.

Anu is a member of Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association, and Ontario Brain Injury Association. She is fluent in Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.

Anu’s personal interests include travel, martial arts and gardening. She is a devoted hockey mom, and volunteers for local food bank and charities.
