Al Pace is the Founder and Principal of Pace Law Firm. He has practiced law for more than 30 years and has earned a stellar reputation for skill and outstanding client service. After completing his studies at the University of Toronto and the University of Windsor where he received his LL.B., Al was called to the Bar for the province of Ontario in 1980. Initially, Al developed his law practice in the areas of personal injury and civil litigation. In subsequent years, Al expanded the firm’s practice areas to include corporate and commercial litigation and immigration law and related services.
As CEO of Pace Law Firm, Al takes a personal interest in all of the firm’s cases to ensure the highest standards of service excellence are met consistently across the firm. Vince Lalonde leads the Global Investor Immigration Practice at Pace Law.
He has successfully launched several immigration investment products in the Chinese marketplace, with a focus on Canadian, Caribbean and European investor immigration. He secured Center of Influence (COI) partnership with the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), and was responsible for marketing and legal services for RBC's federal immigrant investor program (FIIP) in Asia.
Vince advises financial institutions, government bodies and developers on the legality, viability, and marketability of their investor immigration projects and programs. He was instrumental in opening up the Chinese market for several successful immigration products, including PEI PNP, Saskatchewan PNP, Singapore INvestor, UK Tier 1 Investor, St. Kitts Citizenship, and Dominica Citizenship by investment programs.
Vince advises international investors seeing citizenship or permanent residence abroad on the most suitable investment option to help them achieve their goals. He has helped hundreds of clients successfully immigrate to Canada and elsewhere.

Khrystyna Yankovska graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Criminology with Distinction. She went on to attend Law School at the University of Birmingham in England finishing at the top of her class. Khrystyna articled at Pace Law Firm under U.S. and Canadian Immigration lawyer Andy Semotiuk and upon admission to the Law Society of Upper Canada, she joined their Immigration Team.
Khrystyna has always embarked on many leadership and volunteer experiences. She has been elected to serve as a Member-at-Large at the Ontario Bar Association Citizenship and Immigration Section for the 2017-2018 year. Khrystyna is also an Executive Member at Toastmasters International In-Pace Club polishing her skills to become a more effective communicator and leader. She is also one of the founding lawyers of the Ukrainian Canadian Social Services Legal Aid Clinic in Toronto and volunteers her time there. She is an avid traveler and enjoys meeting people and understanding their culture. Khrystyna is currently advancing her French language skills, and she is already fluent in Ukrainian, Russian and English.

Rachel Brown is an associate in our immigration practice group, based in Toronto, and is responsible for our immigration clients from Sub-Saharan Africa. Called to the Ontario Bar and the Nigerian Bar, Rachel holds a Master of Laws degree in International Business Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, Toronto, and a Bachelor of Laws from Igbinedion University, Nigeria. She practiced law in a leading law firm in Nigeria representing clients in commercial transaction disputes in superior courts of record in Nigeria. With the goal of international business in mind and prior to obtaining her masters in International Business Law, Rachel saw the need to attain the proper foundation in business administration. As a result, she completed a one-year post degree diploma program in North Island College in British Columbia.
Rachel has been working with Pace Law Firm since 2012 and has worked closely with The Honourable Gerry Weiner, P.C., a former Minister of Immigration Canada, a former Minister of Multiculturalism Canada and Secretary of State of Canada. She travels regularly to Africa, to meet with high net worth individuals to assist them with their investor immigration applications to Canada and other parts of the world.

Marwa Badra is a certified member of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC). She is an experienced Immigration Advisor on staff and is fluent in Arabic and English.
In January 2001, Marwa joined James Metcalfe & Associates, a respected immigration consultancy in Toronto. During the four years she worked with James Metcalfe, Marwa acquired invaluable skill and experience in processing Immigration applications in all categories. In 2004, Marwa joined Pace Law Firm. She provides a full complement of professional services and support in all areas of the immigration practice, with a focus on the business and investor class.
Marwa studied at the University of Alexandria in Egypt and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics. Klaudios is a former senior manager with the Canada Border Service Agency (CBSA) and Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). He has 37 years of federal government service, including international diplomatic assignments in the United States and the Middle East. He retired as Chief, Enforcement (CBSA) in December, 2010.
Klaudios has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo and a diploma in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. He has twice been awarded the Governor-General of Canada’s Peace Officer Exemplary Medal for twenty and thirty years of exemplary service in the Canadian Government.
An expert in Canadian immigration and enforcement matters, he has extensive knowledge of all levels of the federal and Ontario governments. Klaudios also has extensive ties with business and cultural communities in southern Ontario. He is frequently requested to speak on immigration and citizenship issues.

John Burke is a Licensed Canadian Immigration Practitioner who has more than thirty years of experience dealing with complex employment and employment-related immigration issues both in the public service and in the private sector.
John is a graduate of York University in Toronto, Ontario and a full member of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council. Prior to starting his own immigration consulting practice in 1996, John spent twenty-nine years with the federal public service in the department now known as Service Canada/Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC). During the last half of his career with HRSDC, John functioned in the capacity of “Senior Consultant: Foreign Worker Policy and Procedures” for the Ontario Region. In this role, John was instrumental in the development of Foreign Worker Policy, Procedures and Operational Guidelines and was directly involved with employers, employer associations and trade unions with respect to foreign worker issues.
After leaving the Public Service in 1996, John worked as a Senior Immigration Advisor to several prominent Immigration law firms in Toronto, as well as operating his own Immigration Consulting practice. Currently, John operates his practice full time from Richmond Hill, Ontario, where he specializes in Canadian temporary entry and employment related immigration matters.

After studying Economics at Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Belgium where she had moved from her native Burundi, Vanessa established herself in the United States where she acquired a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Marian University in 2005. She worked as an analyst for real estate developers in the Mid-West before continuing her post-graduate studies at Wesleyan University where she earned a Master of Business Administration in 2010. She held diverse functions within the brokerage industry and in the vehicle remarketing arena involving project analysis, compliance, and client relationship management.
Vanessa’s interest in Immigration processes are the results of many years of dealings with both U.S. and Canadian immigration authorities while acquiring her American Citizenship and Canadian residency. This experience, added to her business education as well as her international exposure, makes her an astute analyst of Immigrant Investor files.
Since joining the Immigration Team of Pace Law Firm in December 2013, Vanessa has focused on regulatory compliance within Immigrant Investor Programs.
