Yesterday, I had occasion to participate in an Evian Group Meeting, entitled “Lessons from Doha – Moving Forward Multilaterally in the 21st Century Global Business Environment.”
The Evian Group, founded in 1995, is an international coalition of corporate, government and opinion leaders, committed to fostering an open and sustainable global market economy in a rules-based multilateral framework.
They asked me to ‘provocatively’ (not hard to do!) address the possible implications of a faltering or failed WTO DDA on future global trade negotiations. Here is a copy of my remarks, which I thought may be of interest to Pace’s readers.
