Rebecca’s career demonstrates a strong focus on justice and community involvement. She earned her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University, where she was selected as a case worker for the Queen’s Prison Law Clinic and Legal Aid Clinic. In addition to her advocacy work, Rebecca also gained experience in Constitutional Law, Medical Malpractice, and Aboriginal Law during her summer legal research internships. Prior to law school, Rebecca completed her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (Hons.) at Toronto Metropolitan University, with a minor in Psychology, indicating her broad range of interests.

In her legal practice, Rebecca began as an Articling Student at Law at Pace Law Firm, later becoming a Lawyer. Her experience covers Personal Injury Law, Estate Law, and Employment Law, reflecting her versatility and deep understanding of different legal domains. Her negotiation and legal writing skills have been beneficial in her legal work.

Rebecca’s hard work and focus on justice have led to awards including the McDougall-Watson Memorial Award from Queen’s Legal Aid and the Tate Herbert Memorial Award from the Ontario Justice Education Network. These awards recognize her contributions to the legal field and her consistent pursuit of professional excellence.

Currently, her practice focuses on plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation, including motor vehicle collisions, slip/trip and fall accidents, and long-term disability, with a special focus on complicated orthopaedic injuries and brain injuries. She is a compassionate and dedicated advocate, committed to going the extra mile to ensure her clients receive treatment and compensation for their injuries.
