Nancy studied at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, specializing in economics, where she graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. In addition to her bachelor’s degree, Nancy attained her law degree from Queen’s University in 2007 and was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2008.

Nancy practices exclusively in civil litigation, having appeared at various levels of Ontario Courts, the Financial Services Commission, the License Appeal Tribunal and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act Tribunal. She has extensive experience in dealing with insurance companies and handling catastrophic claims. Her current practice includes motor vehicle accidents claims (tort and accident benefits), long term disability benefits, slip and fall cases, and sexual assault claims. Nancy also practices wills and estates litigation.

In addition to writing for their publication, “The Litigator,” Nancy is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and speaks regularly at continuing legal education programs. She has a particular passion for advocating for minority communities and has founded a free legal clinic in 2012 in partnership with the Chinese Family Services of Ontario. Nancy also often travels to northern Ontario, specifically Kenora, to service Indigenous clients on and off reserves. She is fluent in both English and Cantonese.

In her off time, Nancy enjoys snowboarding, golfing, and reality television. She resides in the Greater Toronto Area with her two sons and husband but often travels to northern Ontario, specifically Kenora, to service northern clients.
