Mika Karlin is a Dual JD graduate of the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. She is part of Pace Law Firm’s Personal Injury group, supporting injured clients through motions, mediations, and discoveries. Her work includes preparing motion records and mediation memoranda, attending court and mediation events, and stepping in to conduct an examination for discovery when required.

Before articling with Pace Law Firm, Mika worked with Questrade’s in-house legal team, gaining exposure to corporate, employment litigation, wills and estates, marketing law, and intellectual property. She has also contributed to construction and family law matters and previously assisted on immigration files, including work permits, Start-Up Visa program matters, and cross-border documentation. Mika served as a clinic student with a Conviction Integrity Unit while holding a leadership role in a Sports and Entertainment Law Society. She communicates in English and has conversational proficiency in Russian and French. Outside of law, Mika has a long background in dance and enjoys travel.
