Pace Lawyer Runs In BIST 5k Run For Brain Injury Survivors

October 15, 2016

On October 1, 2016, the Brain Injury Society of Toronto (BIST) held its annual 5K Run, Walk and Roll event.  Despite the rain and chilly weather, the event was an enormous success!  With the help of many supporters and other personal injury firms, the event raised just under $50,000 in support of BIST’s programs and services, which enhance the quality of brain injury survivors in the City of Toronto.  BIST is entirely funded by private donations and so events such as the 5K Run, Walk and Roll go a long way to making sure BIST fulfils its very important mission.

Pace Law Firm’s own, Steven Glowinsky, participated in the run on behalf of the firm and finished with the fifth best time (0:20:55) amongst all participants!  Of his ongoing participation in BIST events, Steven said: “The perseverance of brain injurysurvivors and their families and other support networks is inspiring.  I am privileged to have the opportunity, along with many others in the personal injury community, to help the Brain Injury Society of Toronto in raising funds for the very important work the organization champions for persons in need of assistance, support, and advocacy”.
