by Marwa Badra – in Cairo: I attended a large gathering in Cairo today, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce. The guest speaker was Dr. Samir Radwan, the Egyptian Minister of Finance.
Mr. Radwan explained the difficult economic situation that Egypt is going through now. At the same time, he was very optimistic about the future. He assured us that more development should take place in Egypt to overcome the current situtation, particularly in the private sector, through small and medium enterprises, long term projects and IT.
I encourage you to follow our Twitter feed here, as I will posting more updates from Cairo in the days ahead.
