We are here for you – virtually

April 1, 2020

To limit the spread of COVID-19, we at Pace Law Firm are all following the recommendations of Canadian chief medical officers who have told Canadians to stay home whenever possible. We introduced work from home arrangements as part of our contingency plan on March 13 and closed our offices on March 25. We know, that each time we leave our homes, we increase the risk of virus spread, so please #stayhome.

As for everyone else, this is completely new territory for our firm and we are doing our best to navigate these extraordinary circumstances. We set two priorities for ourselves:

  • The health and safety of our staff, and
  • Continue serving our clients at the highest possible standard.

Our personal injury, immigration and litigation teams are working in virtual groups, utilizing all the potentials provided by the latest digital technology. While these are trying times for all of us – we also see the opportunity in the new arrangements. Most of the work we provide to our clients, can and will be done remotely. While we remained fully operational, there are challenges that are outside of our scope – like courts suspending operations. We reassured our clients, that we continue working on their files, and will do everything on their behalf during these exceptional circumstances.

Over the decades, Pace Law Firm showed in as many ways to the local community, that we care about them. We care about our clients, and we care about our staff. We’d like to emphasize how important looking after your mental health is at these stressful times – be kind, let things go, breathe deeply, practice gratitude and think good thoughts; just to list a few ways to ease your stress.

We appreciate the trust our clients continue to show for us, that gives us the extra motivation in these trying times. If you have any questions related to the measures we introduced to address the COVID-19 pandemic or you have suggestions what we can do better, please reach out to us at .
