Quebec: A Good Immigration Option for Francophones

February 14, 2011

From time to time, I receive questions from people interested in immigrating to Quebec. Quebec is an excellent choice, especially for those who speak French.

It is worth noting that under the Canada-Quebec Accord on Immigration, Quebec determines its own immigration requirements and selects immigrants who will adapt well to living in Quebec. Each year, the province of Quebec welcomes about 45,000 immigrants from 100 countries. If you speak French, Quebec might be the right place for you and your family.

Quebec offers life at a North American pace with enviable living standards. This includes affordable housing, free public education, and health care. A person who earns an average salary can live very well in Quebec.

For some people, security is the deciding factor in their choice of Quebec as a destination. People who settle in Quebec particularly appreciate living in a safe and secure environment in North America.

If you wish to explore your chances of immigrating to Quebec, please contact me here, or leave questions on this blog and I will respond right away.
