Egypt: Courage and Hope

By Pace Law | February 3, 2011

by Marwa Badra – Pace Law Firm: Like many Egyptians living in Canada, I have viewed the past 9 days as something of an ongoing nightmare. Although I have been living outside of Egypt for many years, it has always been the far away home that has held my dearest memories.

It has been an unbearable pain for all of us to watch Egypt face violence, destruction and bloodshed. I am certain that the recent turmoil has caused us all a great grief and sadness which only time will cure. However, I am also certain that Egypt will overcome this hardship in the same way that it has overcome hardships in the past: with courage and hope.

Over the past 5 years, our team has traveled to Egypt on a regular basis to promote Canada. I have had the great pleasure of working with my people, in my country, and I maintain very close ties with the people there. If I can be of any assistance to anyone who has questions about the situation in Egypt, please contact me here, and I will do my best to respond to you promptly.

Thank you.
