Tim is a former Canadian diplomat and immigration program manager with over twenty years of international experience in immigration. He served with Canada's diplomatic missions in Asia, Europe, the United States, the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean, as well as serving with the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Citizenship and Immigration in Ottawa, Canada (1982-2001). He brings a wealth of experience as a manager of immigration offices abroad and specialized knowledge of Canada's many immigration programs (business immigration, skilled workers, family reunification, work and study permits, Quebec's immigration programs, etc).
Tim directs the Montreal office and is fluently bilingual (English/French). He has helped countless clients obtain permanent residence in Canada since establishing himself as a professional immigration consultant in 2001.
A recognized expert in immigration, he has also done migration consulting work for the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and is currently serving as the National Policy Director of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC). In that capacity, he has prepared reports on the impact of newly proposed immigration legislation (bills) and has appeared as a witness before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration.
He has a Masters in Journalism from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Concordia University in Montreal.
