Darlene is a Licensed Paralegal and a Member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
Darlene trained and graduated as a Registered Practical Nurse in Montreal, Quebec and worked in a Medical/Surgical hospital setting for several years before joining the Canadian Armed Forces as a Medical Assistant. During her 6 years in the CAF, Darlene was posted at numerous bases in Canada and gained invaluable experience in areas of medicine, field medicine and military life.
After moving to Toronto in 1991, Darlene was hired as a Manager for a group medical practice where she gained extensive experience in the area of HIV Primary Care and research, and clinical drug trials. In 2000, Darlene expanded her field of knowledge to motor vehicle accidents at a large medical assessment company where she was promoted to General Manager.
With her medical background, experience, and detailed knowledge of legislation in accident benefits and tort, Darlene is a key member of the medical malpractice team.
