Cristina attended law school at the University of Bucharest in Romania and received her B.L.L. degree in 1997. She worked for a law firm in Romania for 4 years, where she practiced civil, business, contractual and labour law.
After moving to Canada, she enrolled at York University in Toronto and graduated in 2005 with a B.A. in International Studies. Cristina continued post graduate studies at Ryerson University in Toronto, where she earned a Master Degree (M.A.) in Immigration and Settlement.
In 2006, Cristina attended a summer semester program at the Hague Academy of International Law in the Netherlands and received a Certificate in International Public Law and Protection of Human Rights. In addition, she completed an internship with the International Organization for Migration in Bucharest Romania. Cristina joined Pace Law Firm in March 2002, and the immigration team in 2006, and specializes in spousal sponsorship cases. Cristina is fluent in English, French and Romanian.
